Thursday, 29 March: Written part of the test about Oliver Twist. To prepare this part of the test you should read and listen to the whole story again, have a look at the last activities in the book (pages 88 ff) and revise basic grammar rules, not forgetting irregular verbs. 

This writing will take about 40 minutes, so also take your Gateway Student's Book and Workbook to class.

Thursday, 1 December: Workbook p. 27: Do exercises 1, 2 and 3 in your workbook but write exercise 4 on a separate sheet which allows you to give in your language biography. Your teacher is going to correct it. He will assess (évaluer) some texts. (He will draw 5 students at random; these students will certainly get points for their writing. If other students wish to be assessed, they can tell their teacher and he'll do it.) The part "Developing Writing" on page 41 in your Student's Book will help you do this homework well.
